Technology leader of the sector, İnci GS Yuasa turning to 34

İnci GS Yuasa, one of the leader companies of battery sector celebrated its 3rd anniversary of its partnership with GS Yuasa, Japanese battery leader and 34th anniversary of its establishment at a ceremony organized in İzmir. At the ceremony where İnci GS Yuasa family came together, 10-, 20- and 30-year employees were given seniority awards.

Experiencing the production of its 50 millionth battery in its new age, İnci GS Yuasa that is one of the leader brands of battery sector celebrated the 3rd year of its partnership with GS Yuasa and its 34th year in İzmir with its employees and partners.

At the night where İnci GS Yuasa family came together; Neşe Gök, Chairperson of İnci Holding Board of Directors, Cihan Elbirlik, Executive Board Director of İnci GS Yuasa and Hirofumi Umetani, Executive Board Deputy Director of İnci GS Yuasa called out to the employees.

Mr. Elbirlik: A sustainable, strong cooperation

Emphasizing that İnci GS Yuasa moves forward by combining experience with technology in the 34th anniversary of İnci GS Yuasa, Cihan Elbirlik, Executive Board Director of İnci GS Yuasa stated that energy sector is transforming at breakneck speed. Mr. Elbirlik highlighted that İnci GS Yuasa is one of the companies that leads the sector in İzmir, Turkey and the whole world and said:

“We continue to multiply our achievements as technology and service leader of the sector in Turkey by utilizing the century-old knowledge and experience of our Japanese partner GS Yuasa, which is one of the global giants of the sector".

Mr. Umetani: Leadership is our business

Hirofumi Umetani, Executive Board Deputy Director of İnci GS Yuasa said: “We have unloaded our 50 millionth batter from our production line in the 3rd anniversary of our partnership. Our aim that we determined for our 50th anniversary is to produce 150 million batteries. At this point, our biggest assurance and support will be our 3rd factory that we will commission in 2019. We continue to grow with our investments thanks to our strong partnership. We will work harder, produce more and consolidate our position of being energy storage leader of the world with the responsibility of being one of the leader companies of the world. As I always said, I think a bright future is not waiting for us. I believe that we should go and get it".

Ms. Gök: We have been producing for Turkey for 66 years

Neşe Gök prefaced by celebrating the 3rd anniversary of partnership of İnci GS Yuasa and 34th anniversary of its establishment and said: “”Today, if we as İnci Holding have a position of exporting 63 percent of our total production that we make in our 8 production facilities with our battery facility to be opened to more than 100 countries, each of our employees has a big effort in this! As a company, which exports from our region to the whole world and products of which round around the world, we are working for development of Aegean and our country. We will produce and contribute more. In line with this, we have renewed our company vision as “to multiply and hand down the company value to the next generations with international investments in business fields of the future”.

At the ceremony, 10-, 20- and 30-year employees working in İnci Holding and İnci GS Yuasa, the association of GS Yuasa were given seniority awards. İnci GS Yuasa family cut their 34th anniversary cake all together.
