İnci GS Yuasa continues to play an effective role in development of today’s and future’s energy storage technologies. Establishing the first R&D center of the sector, İnci GS Yuasa ranked 116 in top 250 companies that make the highest R&D expense in 2018. According to research conducted by Turkishtime Magazine; İnci GS Yuasa spent 8 million 924 thousand TL for R&D last year.
Sibel Eserdağ, R&D Department Manager of İnci GS Yuasa said: “With our innovative point of view, we meet today’s needs at an ultimate level and improve ourselves consistently by following future’s technology closely. We continue to play an effective role with our collaboration with GS Yuasa. We made about 40 million TL of R&D investment within the last three years and we use 50 percent of 250 million TL of investment that we aim to make in the fourth year of our partnership in technology. We will raise our 5-million battery capacity up to 7 million batteries upon completion of all investments. We focus on developing batteries used in automotive sector and industrial fields with the highest quality standard”.
