Longer Service Life

  • CONDITION OF THE BATTERY BEFORE INSTALLATION

SURFACE VOLTAGE OF THE BATTERY SHOULD BE MINIMUM 12,60 V.

    If V= < 12,60 V, Sulfatation and/or Corrosion
    V=> 12,60 V, Proper.
  • CHARGING PROCESS OF THE VEHICLE

APPROPRIATE CHARGE VOLTAGE OF THE ALTERNATOR SHOULD BE IN THE RANGE OF 13,80 - 14,40 V (RECOMMENDED). VOLTAGE VALUE IN CASE OF BATTERIES OF THE BUSES-HEAVY VEHICLES SHOULD BE MEASURED INDIVIDUALLY.
If the Voltage Value Produced by the Alternator is below the Default Value: Sulfatation
If the Voltage Value Produced by the Alternator is above the Default Value, OverCharge.
  • CRANKING SYSTEM OF THE VEHICLE

CURRENT (A) DRAWN BY THE CRANKING MOTOR AND DURATION SHOULD BE INSPECTED.
If the Cranking Current of the Vehicle is above the Default Value; Sulfatation (in case of extended use)
If the Cranking Duration of the Vehicle is above the Default Value; Corrosion and/or OverCharge.
    • PERFORMING PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE OF YOUR BATTERY,
    • NOT LEAVING YOUR VEHICLE IN PARK FOR LONG TIME,
    • NOT USING YOUR VEHICLE FOR SHORT TERM AND SHORT DISTANCE
    • USING BATTERY WITH APPROPRIATE BATTERY FOR YOUR VEHICLE AND
    • NOT USE THE CONSUMING PARTS FOR LONG TIME WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK WOULD EXTEND SERVICE LIFE OF THE BATTERY.
  • FIXED CONSUMPTION OF THE VEHICLE (ELECTRIC LEAKAGE)

WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK, THE FIXED CONSUMPTION SHOULD BE MAXIMIM 20 Ma FOR THE ‘PASSENGER CARS’ AND MAXIMUM 80mA FOR THE ‘BUSES-HEAVY VEHICLES’
If it is above 20mA for the Passenger Vehicles, Sulfatation (in case of long use)
If it is above 80 mA for the Buses and Heavy Vehicles, Corrosion and/or OverCharge
    • IN CASE OF BATTERY DISCHARGE, ALWAYS CONTACT WITH THE BATTERY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER.
    • THE DISCHARGED BATTERY SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO NECESSARY INSPECTION AT THE BATTERY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTERS AND CHARGED BY CONNECTING TO THE CHARGER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS.
